"Cosmo" Chapter 2 cover artwork for RoundTwo's Bloodborne lore book, Apokalypsis: Blood. For this piece I wanted to show Bloodborne's Great Ones arranged like a twisted divine vision - like something you might see when you make contact with the cosmos.
As a nod to the surgical metaphor permeating throughout the game outlined by CharredThermos and other lore hunters in the Bloodborne community, I chose to arrange the Great Ones like a human anatomical diagram, mostly of the endocrine system: brain (Brain of Mensis) and tonsils or amygdalae (Amygdala) at the top, above lungs, thyroid, and thymus (Ebrietas), kidneys (Rom's corpse and Rom's living form), uterus (Mother Kos, carrying her orphan), backed by the circulatory or nervous system (Moon Presence).
